- Value Based Leadership (VBL) is not a new concept. Over time, VBL has been analysed by both Danish and foreign authors within the leadership literature. At its core, it is about leaders being credible. Walk the talk. What the leader says must align with the leader's direct and indirect actions. This creates predictability for the employees, which again provides security and thereby builds trust among the employees. Which again gives the best foundation for psychological safety in a workplace.
